I was saddened to learn of the passing of Gene Wilder, so a day after his death I decided I would paint him as Willy Wonka.
This was a really fun piece to paint. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I ended up LOVING it.
A colorful, fun piece, Willy Wonka measures 2' wide by 3' tall. The "pallet" was hand built by Carrie. Painting is sealed with Liquitex satin varnish with UV protection.
I am considering painting another Willy Wonka right away. Stay tuned.
