I completed my acrylic painting of guitarist SLASH (Guns N Roses) this week and I am really digging it. I first sketched out SLASH using three different source photos and then I painted that sketch in gouache watercolor. It was a sort of rough draft for this painting.
This acrylic painting of SLASH has been painted on a 18x24" gallery wrapped, deep profile canvas. The painting was sealed with a satin varnish and it has a lovely light sheen. Hanging hardware has been attached.
This original painting of SLASH has suuuper energetic brush strokes and a paint splashed background.
