Chris Cornell, "Crushed": Wood Painting with Crushed Glass

I love experimenting with various mediums and techniques and after finding some fun crushed glass at Michaels I knew I had to find a way to incorporate it into an art piece.

Using an adhesive that would bond both wood and glass, I bonded the crushed glass to the wood then sealed it over top with my high gloss varnish. The result was pretty great. The glass is now a permanent fixture of the painting's background and I really love the texture of the glass against the wood.

I made a video describing how I bonded the glass and wood:

I can't wait to use this crushed glass on other projects as well.
