"Revolution", a 22x36 wood piece I did recently of Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman-Hughes from their iconic photograph from the early 1970s.
I wanted this piece to look like it could have come from that era, so I painted some funky rainbow stuff with stars and psychedelic writing. The writing, btw, says, "Strong Women, Know Them, Be Them, Raise Them."
This piece is fairly lightweight for the size, it is no problem to hang. In fact, I have it hanging in my bedroom until it finds it's forever home.
This painting was therapy for me, an outlet during these crazy times. I enjoyed learning a bit about Gloria and Dorothy during it's creation.
This painting is currently available for purchase in my online store.
