I've started messing with gypsum/plaster and making retro chalkware pieces. My favorites are the mermaids, of course, but the fish are a lot of fun to create as well. These chalkware pieces were made using a mold that was created from a vintage piece. They look and feel like the true vintage ones and are available in a myriad of vintage-inspired colors.
The mermaids are a lot of fun by themselves but really look great with a seashell, starfish or fish accompanying them. I'm also in the process of making some chalkware bubbles to pair with the mermaids. These have been so much fun to create, I hope you love them!
