Jet Jordan, a Seattle area resident, has an incredible model train display that pays tribute to the city. With a replica Space Needle, Elephant Car Wash, Sounder Train and of course, the iconic pink Tow (toe) Truck, Jordan's display is impressive.
His photography of the miniature city is equally impressive.
I've watched Jordan post photos of his work in a local Facebook group, The Snohomies. His creativity and attention to detail has made him somewhat of a local celebrity. So when he asked to include some of my artwork I was more than excited.
He chose paintings of the Space Needle, Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, the Tuba Man, Kurt Cobain, JP Patches and Jimi Hendrix. These paintings were scaled down and made into a mural, just past King Street Station.
You can see more of Jet Jordan's Seattle train display on Facebook, or see it in person on December 7th at Looking Glass Coffee where Jordan is set to bring his display to the public while also collecting Toys for Tots for the holiday season. See you there!
