The photo of Bernie Sanders in his mittens on Inauguration Day is currently making the rounds on social media and I am here for it.
The mittens, made for Bernie by a school teacher a couple of years ago, were the stars of the day and Bernie was their perfect model. (The Burton coat also has an interesting back story!)
I've enjoyed all the memes the photo inspired but really, the photo by itself is perfection.
Bernie's warm, comfy and safe with his mask and social distancing. Practicality over everything, yo. Especially when it's bitter-ass cold.
