Fabric Painting on Clothes: Painting FRIDA
I painted Mexican artist and icon, Frida Kahlo, on a pink jacket this week using fabric medium and acrylic paint. I mix the two at a 50/50 ratio and apply in thin layers. I made a YouTube video of the painting, feel free to check it out if you are curious about the process.
This is the finished fabric painting of Frida, after a washing, to make sure it has set.
I just love upcycling things, giving them new life! I bought this jacket for $1 at a local thrift store.
